The MBA in Agriculture offers students the opportunity to study with other producers and agribusiness professionals - to take full advantage of a wide range of agricultural expertise and experiences - and to provide a custom-made network. The program is structured as a sequence of phases.

This program is delivered entirely online with one weekend and a one week residential school attendance required (schools throughout Canada and several international locations available). Athabasca University is a full member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the International Council for Distance Education, and the Canadian Association for Distance Education. In June 2002 the University was awarded candidacy status for US accreditation by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
